Actor and member of Parliament Govinda, who was shown by television channel India TV in a video footage with Dawood Ibrahim, Chotta Shakeel and Abu Salem, has denied that he had any links with the underworld don and said he was being framed by his rivals.

Govinda said that he had been a victim of underworld pressure and had performed in Dubai under pressure and had been cleared by the Central Bureau of Investigation, Crime Investigation Department and the police way back in 1989. "A chance meeting does not mean having links (with Dawood),"

Govinda said.
