Commandos raid Manipur University, recover arms

Police commandos in Manipur on Saturday raided the Manipur University campus at Canchipur near Imphal and recovered some sophisticated arms.

The raids were conducted following reports of infiltration of armed militants, official sources said.

The arms recovered included bombs and M16 rifles. Five persons were arrested, the sources said.
