West Bengal [ Images ] Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee [ Images ] will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [ Images ] on Wednesday during which the issues of financial package for the state and United Progresseive Alliance's Presidential candidate are likely to come up for discussion.
Trinamool Congress [ Images ] sources said the prime minister has invited Banerjee for a meeting today, though the time has not been fixed yet.
The prime minister's invitation to Banerjee comes on a day when she is meeting Sonia Gandhi [ Images ] on Wednesday. The issue of Presidential candidate is expected to figure during the meeting.
Banerjee, who is the chief of United Progressive Alliance's [ Images ] key ally Trinamool Congress, has been demanding a financial package for the state for quite some time now.
