There is an eerie silence on Raisina Hill even as Dr Manmohan Singh's family gets ready to vacate 3, Race Course Road, the prime minister's family quarters.
Congress leaders are tense over reports that Dr Singh may be writing his memoirs.
An autobiography of a prime minister who has served 10 long years, second only to Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, would generate huge interest.
But after the row over his former media adviser Dr Sanjaya Baru's book, The Accidental Prime Minister, Congressmen are wary about Dr Singh's memoirs.
Dr Singh's views -- if they are candid that is, not careful -- about Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi could have a big impact on the Congress dynasty.
