Film actor Armaan Kohli was on Tuesday arrested in Mumbai after his car, allegedly being driven by him, knocked down a motor-cycle-borne businessman in suburban Andheri late on Monday night.
The businessman, who was injured, was rushed to a nearby hospital, police said.
"We have arrested Kohli and he is being interrogated," police officials at the D N Nagar police station, investigating the mishap, told PTI.
Kohli was arrested following a complaint by Bijoy Kadvir (28), who was driving the motor-cycle and was knocked down by the actor's vehicle.
However, the officials refused to comment on whether the actor was under the influence of any narcotic substance.
Recently, actor Salman Khan was in the dock, when his car ran over some bakery workers sleeping on a pavement, killing one person and injuring four.
