Former Bharatiya Janata Party ideologue K Govindacharya, admitted to a private hospital in New Delhi after fainting at a function in Hissar, is in a stable condition, hospital sources said on Sunday.
Govindacharya was admitted to Apollo hospital on Saturday night with a suspected blood clot. He is in the Intensive Care Unit.
"He is in a stable condition now. A team of doctors is keeping a close watch on him," a hospital source told PTI.
"Doctors will decide on Monday whether an operation needed to performed or the blood clot can be removed through medication," they said.
Govindacharya was addressing a function of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch in Hissar when he fainted.
