Expect more raids in the days to come. That's what top officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation say when asked about the corruption-related cases that have been handed over to the agency by the Centre.

According to sources in the organization, after having carried out raids on Wednesday with regard to the 2G Spectrum scam, the agency is now preparing to launch major raids in connection with Commonwealth Games tender scams.

Suresh
Kalmadi and Lalit Bhanot could be the targets of these raids. Senior agency officers on Wednesday tipped off a national daily alleging that the two key officials of the Commonwealth organizing committee were hampering investigations and that an intimation in this regard had been passed on to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by agency's director A P Singh.

Also on the CBI radar is the Adarsh housing society scam.
