Investigators probing the Delhi high court blast case have asked foreign intelligence agencies operating in Southeast Asia if they have picked up any signal or communication which may provide links to Wednesday's terror attack in the national capital.

Official sources said Sunday that the investigators were in regular touch with foreign agencies, particularly of the United States, to get any information related to the blast, including whether it was carried out by any home grown terror outfit having links across the border or by terrorists based in neighbouring countries.

The sleuths are also taking help from the foreign agencies to find out the origin of the emails claiming responsibility for the blast which has claimed 13 lives.

Home Minister P Chidambaram on Friday had said that agencies of foreign countries had been contacted to crack the case.

He had said the security agencies were working round-the-clock as "we are seeking help from other agencies from around the world too". Indian officials are taking help from the foreign agencies to analyses data relating to signal intelligence, communication intercepts, movement of known terrorists and their front operatives during the past few weeks, sources said.

Chidambaram had also said all information and leads were being taken seriously and pursued by the investigators. "As far as investigations are concerned, there are promising leads but I can't yet call them very conclusive leads," he had said.
