At a time when the Congress seems to be on a losing streak in every other state election and evidently seems to be heading towards losing power in the Centre, the question everyone is asking is, who, or what, can save the Congress.

After letting Rahul Gandhi test the waters (and burn his fingers) in the Uttar Pradesh [ Images ] elections, it seems that the Congress is finally letting the 'PM-in-waiting' play a larger role in national politics.

How effective Gandhi will be is a question only time will answer.
