Blast at Mumbai Central, 24 injured

Twenty-four people were injured in a blast at a food plaza at the crowded Mumbai Central station on Friday evening.

Twenty-two were taken to the nearby Nair Hospital and thirteen of them were discharged after first-aid.

It was initially thought to be a cylinder blast, but later in the evening Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Shailendra Kumar ruled out the possibility. He told that the cause of the explosion was being investigated.
