Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and deputy leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, Gopinath Munde, on Friday spared no chance to get even with his junior colleague Shahnawaz Husain even as he took full control of the question and answers session with the media when the two leaders shared the dais to read out the party's political resolution.

Munde, who was quite annoyed when Husain answered a question addressed to him, curtly reminded the latter that the question was addressed to him and Husain should let him do that.

The two had shared the dais to read out the highlights of the political resolution proposed by Munde and seconded by general secretary Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The political resolution pointed out inflation, corruption, terrorism and Naxalism as the main issues facing the nation and castigated UPA II government, especially Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his "failure to tackle any of these issues effectively."

But while doing so Munde constantly ribbed Husain and reminded him who the boss was on the dais as Munde answered questions addressed to Husain without any murmur from the junior leader.

At one point when a journalist asked a question to Husain, Munde cut him short even before he could answer the query. "Inko takleef mat dijiye (Please don't bother him with your questions)," Munde told the audience and went ahead to answer the question.

At one point when a journalist asked Munde if he could become the ever become the prime minister, the former deputy chief minister of Maharashtra said that it was inconceivable and the party decides who becomes a prime minister and not an individual.

Sensing that Husain was trying to get even with him on this question, Munde, gathering all his charm and wit, said, "PM banana Shahnawaz ke haath main nahi hai (Shahnawaz is not the one who will decide the issue)".
