The feud between the two factions of the BJP's Karnataka unit is over for now, reports Vicky Nanjappa

The political crisis in Karnataka seems to be over for now with the feuding factions in the Bharatiya Janata Party's state unit reportedly reaching an agreement as per which 21 ministers will be sworn in at 5.30 pm on Monday.

After deliberating over the issue in the last four days, both factions have come to an understanding and finalised the names of 21 legislators who will be sworn in as Cabinet ministers.

But the controversial Reddy brothers -- Janardhan and Karunakar -- and their associate Sriramulu have not found a place in the list.

The portfolio allocations haven't been decided yet, but reportedly the post of deputy chief minister will be done away with. R Ashok is likely to continue as the state home minister.

Other BJP leaders who have found a mention in the list are Dr V S Acharya, C M Udasi, Krishna Palemar, Ramdas, Bache Gowda, Shobha Karandlage, Basavarj Bommai, Lakshman Savadhi, Renukacharya, Umesh Kathi, among others.

Most ministers are likely to retain their portfolios, according to sources.
