After Kanishka blast accused Ajaib Singh Bagri came out of the courtroom in Vancouver on Wednesday, with his youngest daughter, she said in a statement that he had absolutely no involvement in any of the criminal activities.

'It caused deep division in the community,' she said.

The healing will begin, the statement said.

The other accused, Ripudaman Singh Malik, 57, declined comment as he left the courtroom.

He thanked his family, wife for their unwavering love, support and trust.

Nearly 20 years after Sikh extremists blew up Air-India Flight 182 from Toronto to India, a Canadian judge had pronounced the two accused not guilty.

Malik and Bagri, 55, were acquitted on all eight counts they faced.
