J&K: 2 troopers killed, 3 injured in attack

Two Central Reserve Police Force troopers were killed and three others critically wounded in a powerful hand grenade explosion on Friday inside a CRPF camp at Nehama, 75 km from Srinagar in Kulgam district.

The police said a grenade was tossed the CRPF camp this morning, and the blast resulted in injuries to five troopers.

The injured troopers were taken to hospital where two succumbed to their injuries.

Three other injured soldiers have been referred to Srinagar by attending doctors for specialized treatment.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
