Former Patna district magistrate Gautam Goswami, who has been evading arrest in the multi-crore flood relief scam, on Friday applied for anticipatory bail in a special court in Patna.
The application is likely to be heard by Designated Vigilance Judge J M Prasad on Saturday.

In his application, Goswami has denied allegations of embezzlement and has promised complete cooperation with the Vigilance Bureau in its investigations.
The bail application was filed a day after the Vigilance Bureau bureau increased the reward for information on Goswami's whereabouts.
