November 06, 2004 12:36 IST

"We will be attending the meeting after the anushthan. It could be either later today or tomorrow," VHP leader Praveen Togadia said.

Togadia said both he and VHP supremo Ashok Singhal had stayed away from the meeting on Friday after seeking permission to do so from the Sangh leadership.

VHP sources, however, maintained its leaders have decided to avoid any interaction with BJP leaders till the party fully returns to its Hindutva roots.
