Dhananjoy may again appeal to Supreme Court August 04, 2004 17:12 IST Dhananjoy Chatterjee, sentenced to death for raping and murdering a 14-year-old girl in Kolkata in 1990, is likely to move the Supreme Court in appeal once again.
Article 32 deals with the right to move the Supreme Court for enforcement of a fundamental right. "Notwithstanding the Presidential decision, there has been inordinate delay in the matter and as such Dhananjoy Chatterjee deserves commutation of his sentence," Basu told PTI.
