Fernandes meets Vaiko

Defence Minister George Fernandes called on the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader Vaiko on Friday afternoon, at the Vellore central jail. Vaiko is being held under the Prevention of Terrorism Act. The meeting lasted nearly 45 minutes, police sources said.
