Controversial Bihar MP Shahabuddin surrenders

Controversial MP Mohammed Shahabuddin on Wednesday surrendered before a Siwan court in connection with a case of abduction and suspected murder of CPI-ML activist Munna Chaudhary in 2001.

The Lok Sabha member from Siwan was on the run ever since Bihar police chief D P Ojha issued orders for his arrest on July 30.

The Rashtriya Janata Dal MP gave himself up before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Sushil Kumar Sinha.
