Recently, Sab Ki Leta Hai was asked about our opinion of Salman Khan.
Now, let us admit that this columnist has been a big Salman fan. If Salman was not in the film industry, what would have happened?
There would be no Black Buck killing case. There would be no beating up of a journalist. There would be no killing of innocent men on the streets.
There would have been no violent love affair with Aishwarya Rai. There would have been no threatening calls to Vivek Oberoi.
And finally, there would have been no case of a very drunk Salman boasting of his underworld connections.
Imagine people, you would have missed so much fun and gossip in Bollywood life. Now, compare his life to Shah Rukh Khan's, which is so dull and boring. You only get goodie-goodie answers. And who is interested in reading about life of a happily married man anyway?
Last year, we decided to ask Salman why he doesn't come up clean and refute all the allegations against him.
A calm Salman replied, "I only talk when I have to. I don't think it is important for me to give answers to every question. That is my nature. I was the same person at the time of Maine Pyar Kiya and even now. Why should I change for others?
"I have no grudges against press," he added. "You see, they have families to support and if they put my name in controversies, their newspapers sell. So let them do so if that makes them happy. I have no issues."

Recently, director Anubhav Sinha organised a party to celebrate the success of Dus in H2O, a Mumbai nightclub.
The party was supposed to start at 7.30 pm. As usual the artists didn't land up on time and we poor journos had to wait for a long time.
Now, this is not unusual for scribes covering filmi events. The only problem was they were served only with H2O -- the colourless, odourless liquid, in case you skipped your chemistry classes -- till 10 pm.
Now, we don't know the real reason behind that. Was it because Sinha wanted to serve reporters water only till the clock struck Dus, and then start the dinner?
As a journo quipped, "Suniel Shetty's managers (H2O is owned by the actor) take the name of their restaurant too seriously."
Well, we're just glad the place isn't called Fire.

What is Zayed Khan's claim to fame? I guess no one will have an answer.
But Sab Ki Leta Hai has an answer for every filmi query.
He starred in the hit Main Hoon Na. True, but a certain Shah Rukh didn't have much do with that box-office take, did he?
After that, Zayed's Vaada and Shabd disappeared without any action at the theatres.
Now, just as things were looking bad for him, Dus happened and he is back in action.
He was heard telling journalists, "Abhishek (Bachchan) and I don't have competition. In fact, we are buddies and compliment each other's work.'
C'mon Zayed! Abhishek had 14 flops in the last five years before he struck with three hits this year. Now, you need to have those many flops first to reach his level. Only then can you talk of comparisons, Zayed.
