Shirin Farhad... fails at the box office

Last week's release Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi got off at a poor start at the box office.

On the other hand, Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger has managed to collect Rs 175 crore by the end of its second weekend, making it the second biggest grosser after 3 Idiots so far.

Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives the box office verdict for the week.

Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi

What works: Great performances from Boman Irani and Farah Khan, good chemistry between the lead couple.

What doesnt: A slow second half, songs tend to interrupt the pace further.
