Several Bollywood celebrities have come in support of Shah Rukh Khan as India and Pakistan are arguing over the issue of his security and said that the article written by him has been subjected to political agenda. Here's what they said:

Pritish Nandy: '@iamsrk does not have to prove his patriotism and love for India to anyone. And certainly not to any political party. He is 100% Indian. Nonsense.'

Karan Johar: 'Ridiculous misinterpretation of @iamsrk's' extremely well written piece being subjected to political agenda...a shame!!!!'

Madhur Bhandarkar: 'Pak Minister should worry about the safety of his own people. In our Country even artistes from Ali Zafar to Adnan Sami of Pak nationality r safe!!!'

Kunal Kohli: '@iamsrk doesn't need to give explanations to bigots who drag him into controversy's to get mileage for themselves.'

Amitabh Bachchan pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi

Amitabh Bachchan paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary and tweeted: 'On his death Anniversary today we remember the Mahatma .. ! His sacrifice, his teachings and his truth .. !! Do we have in our parliamentary system the concept of a 'State of the Nation' address by the Head ?? Would be interesting !!'

'The Global Sounds of Peace Concert tonight, is symbolic in its choice of date - Jan 30th, when Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated !!' he added.

Held at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai, the concert is homage to Mahatma Gandhi and the martyrs of 26/11 Mumbai attack. Singers like Kavita Krisnamurthy, Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan, Roop Kumar Rathod, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Kailash Kher will also be performing there.
