Controversies and Sreesanth go hand in hand. As he enjoyed staying in his brother's flat in Bangalore, his neighbours did not seem to enjoy his presence much. They complained to the cops that Sreesanth was creating nuisance with his music and dance programmes throughout the night.  After making enquiries, the cops asked the cricketer to avoid the late night music sessions.

Nevertheless Sreeshanth remains the hot favourite of Bangalore's page 3 crowd. This was evident from the way Sreesanth was mobbed by his young female fans at the audio release function of the Kannada film Jolly Days. During his brief appearance at the function, Sree remained the focus of attraction with four heroines hugging him and posing for photographs with him.

Sreesanth was the chief guest of the audio release function along with Kannada film industry's numero uno Puneet Raj Kumar. Together they released the CD and cassettes of the film directed by M D Sridhar and produced by Madi Reddy. The film is the remake of Shekhar Kammula's Super Hit film Happy Days.

Micky J Meyers who composed the music for the Telugu film was also present at the function. The same tunes from the Telugu film will be used in the Kannada remake though some of the local singers have been used in the Kannada film.

Speaking on the occasion, Sreesanth said he had come to event on the invitation of his friend Reddy. "The bonus is that I was able to release the audio with Puneet Raj Kumar who is a big actor here. I am so happy to share the dais with him because I have enjoyed his dances in films,' Sreesanth added.

In return, Puneet Raj Kumar said that he was a huge fan of Sreesanth.  "I liked the way he bowls with passion on the field. Equally impressive was his dancing abilities which I saw on a reality show. I wish Sreesanth will be a part of my film at least as a guest artist,' said Puneeth.
