Orange happens to be the third film of Telugu actor Ram Charan Tej, Chiranjeevi's son. The film is produced by Nagendra Babu (Chiranjeevi's brother) under the banner of Anjana Productions and directed by Bhaskar of Bommarillu and Parugu fame.

Genelia D' Souza (whose Bommarillu was a stupendous hit) and Shahzahn Padamsee (daughter of Alyque Padamsee and Sharon Prabhakar) also stars in the film.

Bhaskar, who has two love stories to his credit, is trying his third with this combination of actors.

Charan's second film Magadheera directed by SS Rajamouli was a blockbuster.

Charan, who will have an image makeover as the lover boy in Orange, has done quite a few dangerous stunts in the film.

The music of Orange is scored by Harris Jayaraj who has composed six songs for the film. At the audio launch of the film held recently Genelia said: Orange is a musical love story which will entertain every one."

Chiranjeevi said Orange is a film with a different shade."

The film was launched last October and shot in Australia and other places.

The technical crew includes Kiran Reddy (camera), Anand Sai (art) and Marthand Venkatesh (editing).

Orange is slated for release this month.
