John Abraham had appeared in a special promotional song for his first production, Vicky Donor.
Now, in his forthcoming production Satrah Ko Shaadi Hai, he will be seen making a guest appearance.
The film is a small-budget rom-com directed by writer Arshad Sayyed, who had penned the marital comedy Shaadi Ke Side Effects recently. He had also written many episodes of the Ronit Roy television courtroom drama Adalat.
Satrah Ko Shaadi Hai, which is shot entirely in Bhopal, stars television actor Barun Sobti (of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon), model-turned-actor Harshvardhan Rane, Ridhima Sood (of Ballad Of Rustom) and Sapna Pabbi (who played Anil Kapoor’s kidnapped daughter in the serial 24).
Shedding light on Satrah Ko Shaadi Hai, the film's director Shoojit Sircar says, “It is set in Bhopal during a wedding, and is about the fun ride that follows. It’s about two families, their problems, confusions and disputes... Should be fun.”
