Golmaal 3 beats Action Replayy at the box office

The Diwali [ Images ] week saw two major releases -- both in the comedy genre. While Action Replayy failed to generate interest and draw in audiences, Golmaal 3 emerged as the winner, opening reasonably well and tripling the opening day collections on Saturday and Sunday.

Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives us the box office verdict for the week.

	*Jhootha Hi Sahi* Cast: John Abraham [ Images ], Pakhi, Raghu Ram, Manasi Scott. Director: Abbas Tyrewala. John's performance and cinematography. Weak script. Number of weeks: 2. BO Verdict: Flop. Review
	Knock Out Cast: Sanjay Dutt [ Images ], Kangna Ranaut [ Images ], Irrfan Khan. Director: Mani Shankar. Irrfan Khan is terrific. Unrealistic climax. Number of weeks: 3. BO Verdict: Flop. Review
	*Aakrosh* Cast: Ajay Devgn, Bipasha Basu [ Images ], Akshaye Khanna [ Images ], Paresh Rawal [ Images ]. Director: Priyadarshan [ Images ]. Acting is brilliant, beautifully shot and engrossing script. Action sequences are a little exaggerated. Number of weeks: 3. BO Verdict: Flop. Review
