The first look of Rensil D'Silva's upcoming comedy Ungli is out.

Producer Karan Johar shared the first official poster and wrote: 'Here you Go!!! #unglithefilm.'

The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Neil Bhoopalam, Angad Bedi and Sanjay Dutt in significant roles and will release on November 28.


Irrfan: Haider is one of Tabu's best peformances 

Actor Irrfan Khan, who caught an early screening of his new film Haider, is all praises for the team.

'Tabu has brought in a modern day mother India in @Haidermovie with mystery. One of the best performance of her carrier. Kk has painted a nuanced n layered performance beautifully. Shradha is ethereal. Vishal's hamlet is not as confused as Shakespeare's he is rather wounded emotionally physically. He carries the suffering of whole generation,' Khan tweeted.

'Vishal's has come up with his 3rd adaptation of Shakespeare with master stroke. Kashmir has never been shown from inside the way he has. Shraddha is ethereal in @Haidermovie. She looks as if she was born in Kashmir. And What brilliant performance,' he added.

Haider will release on October 2.


Big B reunites with Vidhu Vinod Chopra

Amitabh Bachchan, who recently shot for Kaun Banega Crorepati in Raipur, has now started shooting for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next production.

'A new film starts with Vinod Chopra/Bijoy Nambiar in Mumbai,' he tweeted.

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film will also star Farhan Akhtar.


Lata Mangeshkar thanks her fans

Lataji, who celebrate her 85th birthday on September 28, turned to Twitter to thank her well-wishers.

Hema shoots for Shimla Mirchi

Hema Malini has begun shooting for Ramesh Sippy's Shimla Mirchi in Shimla with Rakul Preet and Rajkummar Rao. 

'The first day of shooting for Shimla Mrich - with my Director Ramesh Sippy who is also doing a cameo in the movie,' Malini posted.

The film is Sippy's directorial comeback after more than two decades.


Neil completes seven years in Bollywood

Sriram Raghavan's Johnny Gaddar completed seven years on September 28 and Neil Nitin Mukesh, who made his acting debut with the film, got nostalgic.

Thanking his fans, he wrote: 'It's been 7 years today and I feel like it was just yesterday that my first film ever released. A Walk to remember, a Path to carve yet !!!'

Neil will be next seen in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.


Shagufta to make a directorial debut

Writer Shagufta Rafique, who wrote Aashiqui 2, is now all set to make her debut as a director with a yet untitled film. 

Actress Esha Gupta wished her luck and wrote: 'all the very best for your directorial debut Shaggyluu.thank u for being there for me n giving me two great films.shine on.' 

Co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pooja Bhatt, the film will star Ali Fazal and Richa Chadda.

Mallika Sherawat recently attended the Navratri celebrations in New York.

Akshay Kumar launches The Shaukeens trailer

The trailer of The Shaukeens has been launched and can be viewed online. 

Akshay Kumar, who plays an alcoholic superstar in the film, tweeted: 'The Shaukeens are here! 3 old yet young men, a hot girl and an alcoholic superstar played by yours truly in a special appearance :) Let me know what you guys think of the trailer.'

The film also stars Lisa Haydon, Anupam Kher, Piyush Mishra, and Annu Kapoor.

Rohit Roy is currently in Mauritius shooting for director Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film Calender Girls.
