At present, the forum uses two indices for analysing the growth and business competitiveness ranking, which has placed India in the 53rd and 37th position respectively among 102 countries in 2003.
As there were "some overlaps", Claros said, "From the next ranking exercise, there will be a composite index for measuring both the growth and business competitiveness."
While the growth competitiveness ranking encapsulates the business competitiveness also, the vice-versa is not true, he said.
