The Tata group company would deploy Tekelec Eagle-5 Signaling Application System, a high-capacity multi-protocol advanced signaling system for its operations in the subcontinent, Tekelec said on Friday.
The shipping of the product would begin this month, while the deployment is slated to take place later in the year, it said.
Tekelec India managing director Avijit Chaliha said "With 100 per cent market share of signalling infrastructure in all major carriers in India, this further validates the value of our solutions, which continue to help our customers build revenue and increase subscriber satisfaction."
Tekelec is a leading developer of signalling and switching telecommunications solutions, network performance management technology and value-added applications.
