PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I think they both are giving substantial returns. So if have another investment opportunity then you could book profits. If you can hold then hold as both have a good portfolio mix.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Hi Divan, IFCI offloaded a part of its stake in NSE and has got around Rs. 780 crores. They still hold another 5% which couuld fetch it another hefty sum. The stock is rising up on this news. You could hold.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You could look at any of the frontline stocks in the Tech, Banking, Cement and infrastructure sectors. But I would get in on corrections as we witnessed one recently.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Hi Aditya, yes Hind Zinc can be looked at. It has given phenomenal results with a 3 times growth in profits for this quarter. Matrix is a Re. 1 paid up stock and if you look at a 3 year period it has risen steadily and various foreign players have entered the stock at various levels. You could enter at a correction.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, It means that a stock which is coming out with a public issue, the complete stock offering is offered through the book building route.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You could hold on for a while. You could look at stocks like IDFC, ITC with a 6 month time frame to switch.

Againstodds asked, Retail investors barely constitute 1% of the market. 90% of money lies in frontliners. In such situation how can a retail investor read the mid and small cap space to his advantage? Who is moving the mid and small cap market?
PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, The retail investor has to study that much more as they are not in the loop as the larger brokers and the FII's are. The small caps are mostly operator driven and one should be carefull.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, The ban will help augment their turnovers and unload stock. You could look at Balrampur, Bajaj Hindustan.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, It will not get the benefit of tax exemption of Long term capital gains. You will be taxed as all other stock transactions.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I think it is still a good buy. It owns a large stake in MCX one of the leading commodity exchanges of India. MCX is also planning for an IPO and that time FT should benefit substantially.
