DLF chairman K P Singh, who was conferred with Padma Bhushan earlier this year, has received the most prestigious award of Monaco.
Billionaire Singh was conferred the 'decoration of Officer of the order of St Charles by Prince Albert II of Monaco' in New Delhi on Monday, DLF said.
The award was conferred to Singh in recognition for his valuable contribution in a capacity as Honorary Consul General of Monaco in Delhi for last 20 years.
Established in 1858, the Order of St Charles rewards merit and service to the State or Prince of Monaco and is one of the Principality's most exalted distinctions.
"I feel highly privileged to receive this prestigious award...particularly on Indian soil which is a rare honour," Singh said.
