Microblogging site Twitter announced two changes in its top management on Thursday.
Twitter appointed Mike Gupta as the chief financial officer of the company, as Ali Rowghani moved on to take the role of the chief operating officer.
Twitter chief executive Dick Costolo confirmed the appointments with a tweet, saying: "Congratulations to @ROWGHANI on his new role as COO and to @mgupta on his new role as CFO."

According to his LinkedIn profile, he joined the company as vice-president of corporate finance and treasury.
Before joining Twitter, Gupta was with Zynga.
He was also at Yahoo! as senior vice-president, corporate development and finance and chief treasury officer.
