Samsung has been ranked as the fastest growing brand for the second successive year by the global brand consultant Interbrand, which has valued it at $10.8 billion.
Interbrand's annual survey of the top 100 global brands has ranked Samsung as the 25th largest brand this year, according to the company statement on Monday.
It said Samsung's brand value has more than doubled from $5.2 billion in 2001 to the present $10.8 billion, adding it has moved up the pecking order from the 42nd position in 2001 and the 34th place, last year.
