Pfizer Ltd has said that its US parent company has nominated Kewal Handa as managing director of the company.
The company said that the nomination of Handa will be placed before the Board for their approval on April 28, 2005.
Last year in December, Handa was conferred with the India CFO Award 2004 -- 'Excellence in Finance in an MNC' by Indian Medical Association.
Handa is finance director of Pfizer India Ltd since 1996. He is a post-graduate in commerce and an associate member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and also an associate member of the Company Secretaries of India.
He is a member and vice-chairman of the Pricing Committee of the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India and is also on the Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Committee of Confederation of Indian Industry.
