Indian School of Business is increasing the number of seats in its one-year post-graduate programme in management by 60 from next academic year.

Vijay Mahajan, dean of ISB, said: "ISB is growing at a rapid pace. In keeping with the school's expansion plans over the next few years, we are increasing the number of seats in the programme to 280."

Mahajan also said the admissions for the fourth batch (class of 2005) of the programme are open.

The school has fixed two deadlines -- December 31, 2003, and February 16, 2004 -- for applying, and students can apply for either deadline.

The eligibility requirements are: a bachelor's degree in any discipline, Graduate Management Aptitude Test score, and preferably two years of post-qualification experience. The classes for the next batch will commence on April 17, 2004.

Mahajan said more information on the course and application process will be available at the information sessions, which the school will organise throughout the country.

The first such session will be held in Jaipur on September 13, 2003, and later in Thiruvananthapuram, Coimbatore, Pune, Mumbai, Baroda, Kolkata, New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Kochi.
