ICICI OneSource wins prestigious UK award

ICICI OneSource, India's leading business process outsourcing provider has won multiple awards from the National Outsourcing Association, UK at the association's annual ceremony in London on Thursday.

While ICICI OneSource and UK's leading telecom company, Onetel won the award for the Offshoring Operation of the Year, it also jointly won the Financial Services Outsourcing Project of the Year award with UK's leading bank, Lloyds TSB.

The awards recognise organisations that have successfully met offshoring objectives and delivered innovation and tangible return on investment.

Ananda Mukerji, MD & CEO ICICI OneSource said, "The LTSB and Onetel programs are two of the most complex and innovative outsourcing deals in recent times. ICICI OneSource handles Onetel's entire customer lifecycle management process operating call centres, collections and back-office processing services from its centres in Mumbai and Bangalore. This has helped Onetel reduce its operational overheads and to enable a stronger focus on its core business - growing its subscriber base.

The LTSB project with ICICI OneSource represents one of the largest third party outsourcing contracts in India by a UK-based financial services company. Over 1,000 call centre and back-office processing agent positions across three business units (retail banking, insurance and mortgages), are outsourced to ICICI OneSource.
