The 'Truly Festive-Truly Asia' package, valid till November 30, would include return economy airfare, accommodation in a star category hotel with breakfast, airport transfers and half-day sightseeing at Kuala Lumpur.
Announcing the package, Air India's northern region marketing manager Rohita Jaidka said the airline would launch thrice weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur from September 18 for the package.
Air India, which commenced its operations to Kuala Lumpur from July this year, currently operates direct services thrice from Delhi and four times from Mumbai.
Tourism Malaysia's director Roslan Abdullah said the initiatives included promotion of the Southeast Asian nation as a destination for conducting marriages at exotic locales, honeymoon tourism packages and special home-stay programmes for Indian students.
He said campaigns have been launched in several schools of north India and some selected students would be taken to the country and exposed to the educational institutions during study tours.
