DaimlerChrysler India Wednesday unveiled the latest edition of S-Class vehicles with a price tag of Rs 70 to 72 lakh and M-class vehicles, between Rs 55 to 60 lakh, for the Indian market at the Mercedes-Benz Brand Showcase in Mumbai.
Unveiling the vehicles, DaimlerChrysler India managing director and CEO Wilfried Aulbur said, "The idea of the brand showcase is to share our enthusiasm about growth and direction of the company and to interact with friends and customers in their home cities."
The brand showcase will also be organised at Delhi and Chennai over the coming months, he added.
The show featured the complete range of Mercedes-Benz cars in India right from the debutante S-Class, the E-Class and the C-Class to the completely built unit imported range.
The CBU range consists of SLK-Class, CLS-Class and the M-Class, besides the stately Maybach.
Further, Aulbur said, "This introduction (of the new S-Class) is parallel to the US market launch and clearly demonstrates the company's seriousness about the Indian market."
