Bose Corp to open 12 new outlets

Bose Corporation India Private Ltd, subsidiary of leading audio systems manufacturer Bose Corporation of US, would double the number of its retail outlets in the next 18 to 24 months as part of its plans on retailing its products in India through its own outlets.

''We have 12 outlets in the big metros at present. It will be doubled in the next 18 to 24 months,'' Ratish Pandey, general manager, Bose Corp India said.

The company would also open stores in Tier 2 cities like Ahmedabad and Pune as well, Pandey said at the launch of its retail outlet in Kolkata.

The outlets would be named 'Bose Experience Outlet' through which the company would offer products for the home segment, he said.

Bose Corporation has operations in 18 countries and has a global turnover of $1.7 billion. The company had been witnessing almost 60 per cent year-on-year growth in India since its inception in 1995.
