Bose unveils new audio series

Bose Corporation, which aims to bring better quality audio systems to the market, on Wednesday unveiled its latest product offerings. The first is the Cinemate digital home theatre speaker system, which can be attached to existing televisions and DVD players.

The system, which is priced at Rs 32,900 plus VAT, will enable the user to experience sound equivalent to a home theatre system using a regular TV. The system comes with a universal remote, which can be configured to most existing TV and DVD remotes doing away with multiple remotes.

Speaking at the launch, Ratish Pandey, general manager, Bose Corporation India, said that they new products were aimed at making Bose merchandise available to a larger number of people and were priced accordingly.

The second product is the AL8 homewide audio link, which can be used to connect audio systems under the Bose Lifestyle brand across eight different rooms.

The company has also introduced new audio products compatible with the new link. This audio link has been priced at Rs 21,900 plus VAT, but is compatible only with Bose audio equipment.

Bose has had a presence in India since 1996 and retails through nine cities under its professional systems division and home audio division.
