Spices board to take part in 13 global fairs

The Spices Board will take part in 13 global fairs during the current financial year.

According to officials, the Union commerce ministry has given in principle clearance for the board to participate in all these 13 fairs.

This month, the board will participate in the Food and Hotel Malaysia 2007 fair to be held in Kuala Lumpur followed by the SIAL in Argentina during August 28-30.

This is in addition to the Gourmet International Food Show to be held in Tunis.

In September, it will participate in Polagra Food in Poznan Poland and Thessaloniki International Trade Fair in Greece.

In October, the board will take part in Anuga World Food Mart in Cologne, Germany. This will be followed by Food Ingredients Europe 2007 in London during October 30-November 1.

SAITEX 2007 in Johannesburg is another fair.
