Infosys to add 5,000 employees at Pune centre August 11, 2003 13:48 IST Last Updated: August 11, 2003 20:49 IST Software major Infosys Technologies on Monday announced that it plans to ramp up its operations in Pune with an investment of Rs 250 crore (Rs 2.50 billion).
The expansion, the release said, will enable the centre to house an additional 5,000 software professionals. The Pune centre currently employs 2,200 people, and generated revenues of Rs 380 crore for the year ending March 31, 2003, the release said.
