Everyone is now caught up in a fast-paced life, trying to squeeze enough hours into the day to juggle work, family etc.
A natural consequence of this is that your busy schedule eats into your resting period -- more hours of activity equal less hours of sleep.
And so the cycle continues -- we drag ourselves out of bed each morning, baggy-eyed, dazed and utterly reliant on caffeine to keep us energetic through the day.
If this is your life, you're suffering from sleep deprivation -- you're not getting the necessary amount of sleep that your body needs every night.

What is the reason behind your lack of adequate rest? Is it your job, your family life, a new baby?
