Style statement: Culottes for ladies
August 21, 2007

Just as three-fourth pants are the 'in' thing for guys, culottes for ladies have been a fashion statement for some time now. Although they have a somewhat casual appearance, you can team a pair with a sext top and drop-dead heels for an evening out.

At the moment, culottes are available practically everywhere -- in roadside stalls and in designer stores. In Mumbai, they are available at Linking Road and Hill Road in Bandra, at Colaba Causeway and at exclusive shops like Promod and Mango. So whether you want to spend Rs 250 or Rs 2500 on a pair is up to you!

Make sure, however, to buy a pair that's well-cut -- if you don't, you may just end up looking like one of the boys in their scruffy three-fourths!
