Accessorise: Big belts on little dresses
August 08, 2007

Large belts on little dresses are a big trend right now. Take your cue from celebs and invest in a few eye-catching ones -- gold, silver, red --  the flashier the better!

Wear them high up on the waist if you're looking to highlight a pretty number, or then sling them as low as they can go if you're teaming them with jeans.

Since tunic tops are also in fashion at the moment, you could choose to wear a flashy belt on top of a long top as well -- add leggings and you're in vogue.

So where can you find big, big belts? Your best bet in Mumbai is Colaba Causeway, where they are sold in streetside stalls for as little as Rs 150 apiece.
