Now that the weather is getting slightly warmer, we are running into the last two months of the river rafting season.

River raftingNew Delhi's [Images] Aquaterra Adventures continues to offer its weekend river trips for those who want to shake the city out of their hair and get better acquainted with the Ganga.

You can choose from the 2 day-1 night package (Rs 3,500), for which you would arrive on the Saturday and begin rafting at once.

Or the more popular option: to arrive on the Friday night for the 2 day-2 night camp (Rs 4,000), so you can get a good night's sleep before all the rafting begins.

The more adventurous among you can even take the 3 day-2 night option (Rs 4,600). Or if you have got a long weekend over Easter, for example, the five-day trip on the Alaknanda.

All these packages include other activities as well, like kayaking, rock-climbing and sailing.

Make it before mid-April, though, because it will be too hot and the camps will move further up the mountains and into northeast Uttaranchal, into the Tons valley.
