One of the vital cog in Deccan Chargers' wheels, leg-spinner Amit Mishra has said that spinners need to be more skillful and act fast to compete in the Twenty20 cricket.

Gearing up for the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League, Mishra, who emerged as the top wicket-taker for his side in the last edition, said: "Spinners have to do more hard work than speedsters in T20.

"Spinners need to have lot of skills and have to think fast and work on identifying the weaknesses of the opponents. If you have skills you can prove yourself even on batsmen friendly wickets," he told reporters on the sidelines of a programme in Hyderabad.
