Sachin Rana missed out on a century in both innings as the Ranji Trophy match between Haryana and Baroda ended in a tame draw in Sirsa on Monday.
Rana, who scored 121 in the first innings in Haryana's total of 260, was unlucky to get out on 99 in the second essay when he nicked a delivery behind from Zaheer Khan.
Haryana, who conceded a 139-run lead to Baroda, did better in the second innings before declaring on 451 for 5. Siddharth Verma (66), Pardeep Sahu (72) and Mahesh Rawat (90 not out) all made useful contributions but could not deny Baroda the two points from the first innings lead.
Chasing 373 for victory, Baroda were 16 in seven over before play was called off.
