Pakistan beat Sri Lanka [ Images ] by eight wickets in the first day-night One-day-international at Dubai [ Images ] stadium on Friday.

Sri Lanka's batting collapsed for 131 in 40.3 overs on a bowler-friendly track, which was well-exploited by Shahid Afridi [ Images ], who claimed 3 for 27, and Saeed Ajmal [ Images ], 2-21.

Dinesh Chandimal's 28 was the top score in Sri Lanka's card.

In reply, Pakistan chased down the target in 21.5 overs on the back of fine knocks from Imran Farhat [ Images ] (50) and Younis Khan [ Images ] (56 not out).

Pakistan lead the five-match series 1-0.
