ICC extends deadline for submitting final squad of T20 WC

The ICC [ Images ], on Thursday, extended the deadline for the submission of the 15-player final squad for the World Twenty20 [ Images ] Championship in Sri Lanka [ Images ] by six days after receiving requests from various member nations.

"All participating men's teams must have its 15-player squads into the ICC no later than Friday 24 August 2012," ICC stated.

"The date for the women's teams to submit its 15-player squads for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012 remains unchanged and must still be submitted to the ICC by Sunday 26 August 2012," it added.
